In a flurry of colours, cuts and ?cloths?, the fashion collections of Lubica, Kevin Pound, Kenneth ?K-Bobby? Edgar and Lisa ?Neahlis? McIntosh, rocked the runway on the first night of Pulse Investment?s ?Rock the World? concert, held on Wednesday March 14, at the One Love Jamaica Village, New Kingston.
And by the looks of it, spring beckons, as most of the designers made use of lightweight materials of bright colours such as hues of yellows, greens, bright blues and the like.
Colour
Lubica opened the show with her collection of delightfully daring knitted or crocheted casual wear. Kevin Pound followed, showing the men how they can incorporate colour into their wardrobe this spring. K-Bobby?s male collection, however, made more use of earth tones, than colours. Lisa Macintosh?s ?Neahlis? clothed the show with a collection of brightly coloured dresses, characterised by their figure-friendly fit, and suitability for the spring season.
In as much as the clothing was awesome, the models were an attraction on to themselves as patrons craned their necks to get a glimpse of noted Pulse names like Nadine Willis, Carl Campbell, Reship Hemming, Nicole Grey and newcomer Shovel Bell, hot from her recent win of the Pulse bmobile Caribbean Model Search 2006.
