SUPER EIGHT qualifiers New Zealand will use the rest of their squad in their final World Cup Group C game with eliminated Canada today.

With the game having nothing riding on it, captain Stephen Fleming is ready to make changes to give some of his premier troops a break and give others time in the middle.

Ross Taylor is out after suffering a hamstring strain in his innings of 85 during New Zealand's 148-run win over Kenya on Tuesday.

Bowler Mark Gillespie is also short of fitness as he continues to recover from a numb throwing arm.

Injury-prone but inspirational fast bowler Shane Bond should be rested while in-form batsman Peter Fulton will come in for Taylor after recovering from a broken finger.

Changes

"There will be changes," Fleming said." I doubt if Shane will play. Daryl Tuffey I'm sure will come in for a game. 'Fults' will come in. It is a great opportunity we have afforded ourselves."

Opener Lou Vincent, who has scored two ducks in two games so far, will be trying to find some form at the crease.

Spinner Jeetan Patel may also return but Fleming has talked of his unease at employing two spinners so Daniel Vettori may sit out.

Canada will be looking to say goodbye to the World Cup with a bang, especially coach Andy Pick who announced on Tuesday he was leaving his post after the game to return to England.

They were slightly embarrassed by a heavy defeat by Kenya in their first game, with captain John Davison describing the performance as "village", but they improved against England and only lost by 51 runs.
