WESTERN BUREAU:

It is a heated cricket match and the second team is still within striking distance of winning but it is still a wide-open game. Your stomach growls, you're as hungry for something to eat as the West Indies is for a win. But you don't want to venture too far and miss a shot. What a predicament! What do you do?

Well, thanks to Courts Jamaica's recent demonstrations of their small appliances, you can have your meal ready within minutes and not miss a minute of the game.

A novel idea for people on the go, Courts Jamaica got food consultant Pauline Chin Sue and freelancer Bernadette Lawrence to show their customers how to make quick and easy meals at the Super Plus Food Store, in Bogue, St. James, last week.

"Itsaves time, it is a quick and easy way of looking after food," explained Natalee Passelle, sales representative of Courts Jamaica Ltd. "The appliances have timers so you can go and do something else until the finishing signal."
