Family 'backs up' performers
In the world of music where life is constantly on the 'go' and performers are caught up in the whirlwind of tours, studio work and producing hit songs, a number of artistes depend on their families for support. And for some artistes, music is a family affair.

Allison Wallace makes piano her forte

With grace and obvious talent, Allison Wallace can mesmerise any audience on stage. A pianist from a musical family, Wallace has been playing for years, yet she says she is always studying and learning new aspects of her craft.

Lives 'altared' at gospel shows

Based on the numbers that answered th calls, approximately 4,000 persons accepted Christ at the 2007 edition of 'Fun in the Son'. This is in addition to 5,000 who had previously taken the step over the free gospel show's six-year history. Close to 100 persons got saved at 'Recharge' in 2006 and the organisers are looking for a larger number in 2007.

Robert Browne goes 'Dubwise' on lead guitar

Robert Browne, musically known to the world as 'Dubwise', is just one of the many talented musicians to be born into the Browne family. Dubwise, who is a known lead guitarist, says "Growing up seeing my father and uncles play was was the biggest influence."
