BoJ luxury

The Editor, Sir:

The Bank of Jamaica has 75 directors! Luxury vehicles for government officials and their lackeys? The richest countries in the world do not provide such excess to their officials much less an impoverished island.

To add insult to injury a government official gives an unintelligible and lame excuse as to why she needs a high-end vehicle to do her job efficiently.

This is a disgrace. The island is in dire need of leadership. The people need to give Mr. Golding a chance, the status quo cannot be continued.

I can genuinely say for the first time, and as an expatriate, my wife and I will look at a island or visit Tampa, Florida, for our vacation.

I am, etc.,

O. BARR
