WORLD 100M recordholder Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson, last season's fastest woman, head a Jamaica select squad which will compete at next week's 113th staging of the Penn Relays in Philadelphia.

The 2007 Penn Relays will be held at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field between April 26 and 28.

Powell will team up with MVP training partner and World Championships silver medallist Michael Frater, Lerone Clarke and Dwight Thomas on the men's 4x100m team.

Simpson is listed to run one of the 200m legs on the sprint medley team which includes Kenia Sinclair (800m leg), Novlene Williams (400m) and Nadine Palmer (200m).

The men's 4x400m team is made up of Germaine Gonzales, Sanjay Ayre, Leeford Green and Michael Blackwood.

Shericka Williams heads the women's 4x400m team of Ronetta Smith, Nadia Davy and Michelle Burger.

The women's sprint quartet is Brigitte Foster-Hylton, Palmer, Aleen Bailey and Peta-Gaye Dowdie.

The Jamaicans will tackle the United States and the rest of the world at the meet, which will also see many of Jamaican schools in action.
