TAKE A trip around the Caribbean in one night. That would be quite a feat, right? But RBTT Bank Jamaica was up to the challenge last Friday night when they hosted a media appreciation party at Villa Ronai in St. Andrew.

The bank fted the media under the theme 'Around the Caribbean in One Night', and presented a cornucopia of main dishes and deserts from 13 Caribbean islands.

Caterers Kim Fennel and Charmaine Elliot did a great job, as guests flocked the food stations experimenting with pelau and bus up shut roti from Trinidad and Tobago, vegetable lasagne from Aruba and Bonaire, curried peanut chicken from Curaoa, coconut dumplings and seasoned breadfruit from St. Kitts and Nevis, spicy nutmeg chicken from Grenada, and garlic pork from Suriname, to name a few.

The lush grounds of Villa Ronai were welcoming and the RBTT staff added further to the appeal by greeting guests at the entrance.

The Caribbean appeal was further accentuated by the steel pan band, which also greeted incoming guests while flags of the islands decorated parts of the venue.

Byron Lee and the Dragonaires provided the main music for the event, performing a mix of soca, calypso and reggae from the islands into the late night.

Guests included CEO of RBTT Jamaica, Rodney Persad, Judith Forth-Blake, Millicent Battick, Deborah Grey, AntoinetteReid-Walcott, Loren Edwards,Winford Williams, Keith Brown, Doneisha Prendergast, Fiona Fennel, Gary Cole, Warren Cassell and Michael Wright.
