Audley Boyd, Assistant Sport EditorTITLE ALREADY in the bag, Harbour View practised another exercise in their penultimate Wray and Nephew National Premier League match on Wednesday night at Compound against already demoted Wadadah - get goal chances for successful twin strikers Kavin Bryan and Fabian Taylor.
To an extent, it was successful as both equally accounted for the goals in their 4-0 win. The duo is in contention for the scoring award, Taylor on 14 and Bryan at 16, one fewer than Waterhouse's left fullback/midfielder Irvino English, who netted once in his team's 3-2 loss on Wednesday at Barbican to August Town, to hit the 17 mark.
Having seen English blast five past Wadadah in a 9-2 demolition, last Sunday, and the MoBay team turning up with only 11 players, prospects of leap-frogging front-running English - before kick-off three clear of Bryan and five over Taylor - looked good for the Harbour View strikers.
It got even better when Taylor fired in the first goal after 12 minutes, Bryan the second at the 21st, Bryan again at the 46th and Taylor next in the 48th.
In between and towards the back end of the match, there came a sea of blue-and-yellow dominance and a spate of untried scoring oppo-rtunities because they fell at the wrong feet.
"What is motivating us now is we are trying to win the leading goalscorer award, we are trying to give the chances to Bryan and Taylor," admitted Lenworth Hyde snr., coach of Harbour View which wrapped up the title last week Wednesday - three full rounds before the finish.
