People must take responsibility
published: Thursday | May 3, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

Mr. Witter, the Public Defender, is absolutely correct in his statement regarding gays. I suppose those who are complaining would have them going to church and getting married like they are doing in other countries when the Bible says it is an abomination. Since the Bible says so they have no rights for such despicable behaviour.

I am not advocating violence against anyone, but that is the only sin that God destroyed an entire city for and it was done with fire. The way things are going anyway, I do not think the world can last much longer.

I am always reading that the Government is not doing enough to combat crime, but no one is saying what the Government should do. If people are so evil, the Government are not the ones that are killing the police, raping the children, stealing and killing at will. The people who live in the country should take responsibility for their actions. It is such a shame such a beautiful place with some very good people should have a bunch of crooks ruining the country.

I am, etc.,
