Urban Leandro had a funny way of seeing Jamaica. When he showed you his way of looking at it you had to think it was funny too.
Today, we continue our tribute to the Gleaner cartoonist who would have turned 90 on Monday, and look at the way he saw unemployment and poverty in this country - a problem that still exists today.
In the dedication to the first volume of selected Leandro Cartoons entitled Jamaica (In Pen and Ink) there was a dedication that is more than relevant to today's choice of cartoons.
'... to Jamaicans as a whole, who if they have time to remember and understand their past, will make a better future for their children." Enjoy!
