THE EDITOR, Sir,

There are two words often used in religion and the first two letters when combined form the word IF.

If we were less Intolerant of other people's religion, the Earth would be more peaceful.

If we were less Fanatical in our religious beliefs, there would be no need to be killing our brothers.

Perhaps that is what God is asking of us.
