(from left) Marsh Campbell, Lesley Fuller, and Claudia Rattigan obviously took the 'Fashion Obsession' theme seriously at French Connection All-inclusve Party, held at the C&W Golf Academy, New Kingston, last Saturday. - Winston Sill/Freelance Photographer French Connection delivered on its 'fashion obsession' theme at the C&W Golf Academy last Saturday night.
Greeted by provocatively clad French maids, patrons entered the venue on to a promenade featuring leading French fashion houses, then on to the red carpet. Photographers and videographers took pictures of red carpet guests and 'fans' cheered them in a scene ripped from a Cannes Film Festival gala.
The fashion show kicked offwith Saint International model Shosheba Griffiths, who strutted down the catwalk followed by a slew of other beauties in colourful, sexy and fun gear from designers such as Les Campbell, Keneea Linton, and many other emerging designers.
When the fashion show began persons flocked to the stage, the women especially were appreciative of the sexy male models and they cheered and shouted their pleasure.
The fashion show was too long, running for more than an hour, and some patrons quickly lost interest and walked away from the stage to socialise and eat.
The real party

Sasha Jones is a sophis-ticated French maid.
It was finally after the show that the party began to warm up with songs such as This Is Why I'm Hot and Bad From We Born. Munga Honourable was a hit with the crowd and selectors played a slew of his songs, sending the lighters into the air.
Renaissance hit the right spot with a touch of soca hits from Machel Montano and others, as the dance floor became just a little more packed.
It was after 3 a.m. when DJ Liquid took over and wasted no time. He went into a dub of Alaine's Sacrifice and followed it up with Hot Wuk, Goodas, Ukku, and others.
The social aspect of the party was well over when Beenie Man's Back It Up sounded, causing several women to step out, gyrating on a man before falling on the grass. The party vibe stayed until about 4 a.m. when weary patrons filed out of the conjured France and out of the venue.
