Swallowfield get 12-0 thrashing from Cavalier

CAVALIER RECORDED the biggest victory in zone one of the Shipping Industry of Jamaica/ Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KASAFA) Under-15 competition at the weekend with a 12-0 thrashing of Swallowfield.

Cavalier are now third place in the standings on 10 points, five behind leaders Real Mona (15), who registered a 2-0 win over second-placed Harbour View (12).

Santos (six) defeated Bull Bay (four) 4-0 and Mountain View (six) edged Liguanea United (three) 2-1.

In Zone Two action, leadersWaterhouse (12) whipped bottom-placed Seaview Gardens (3) 5-1.

Boys' Town, who are in joint second spot on 10 points with Arnett Gardens, defeated Olympic Gardens (three) 3-0. Allman/Woodford (six) beat bottom side Greenwich Town (0) 4-0 and Arnett Gardens edged arch-rivals Tivoli Gardens (nine) 2-1.

In a Zone Three top-of-the-table clash, Meadhaven United whipped Cooreville Gardens 5-0. Meadhaven are now tied for first place with Coorville on 12 points. Meadhaven have a game in hand.

In other games, joints third-place team Duhaney Park (seven) played to a 2-2 draw with bottom side Barbican (four) and Shortwood (four) and Stony Hill Phoenix (seven) ended 1-1.
