LETTER OF THE DAY - Why Lisa is best for the job
The Editor, Sir: There is much controversy about Lisa Hanna being the candidate for the PNP in St. Ann. A lot has been said in anger, out of ignorance and from people who have a lot to lose if their candidate is not chosen.

Hosting CWC was good for Jamaica

The Editor, Sir: It is interesting that pollster Bill Johnson mentioned on the front page of The Sunday Gleaner of May 20, with headline "PNP pushes ahead", that one of the reasons why that party had a better rating over the JLP was the feeling of national pride that many Jamaicans had when the country co-hosted the ICC Cricket World Cup recently.

Selling the Heathrow route - a big mistake

The Editor, Sir: I am not a fan of your columnist Dawn Ritch, but her last Sunday's offering taking our Finance Minister, yet again, to task, was spot on.
