Marc Heslop has a big heart, and this was one of the qualities that stole Kayon Walker's heart.

Marc wed his sweetheart of six years at the Gregory Park Baptist Church in Portmore, St. Catherine, on Saturday, June 2. Kayon and Marc met on May 23, 2001, at the party of a mutual friend.

"We hung out as friends for a while and started dating seriously about September of that year. We have been through our ups and downs, but we try to communicate as much as possible to work through our difficulties," Kayon said.

Kayon added that Marc, who is a supervisor at RBTT, is very ambitious, fun-loving and passionate.

Kayon, who is in investment banking, said her wedding day was one of the happiest days of her life, and it really looked that way. Whenever the couple's eyes met there was a twinkle followed by a passionate kiss. Emancipation Park was the location for photos, and the reception was held at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel.

Kayon's dress, which was made by Francis Keane, glowed in the evening sun, and all eyes were on this June bride.

Marc and Kayon honeymooned on the north coast.
