BAKER'S FIESTA IS BACK

Betty Crocker Baker's Fiesta is back for the third consecutive year! It's the only show in Jamaica where bakers, pastrymakers and families meet at the same location for an entire fun- filled day.

The show has unique elements such as: high school baking competition, adult cooking competition and a high school dance competition.

Betty Crocker Baker's Fiesta is a family event where everyone finds culinary pleasure and more.

The event takes place on Sunday, June 24 at Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, Hope Road. Gates open at 10:00 a.m.

You will be able to enjoy rides, games, giveaways, clowns and so much more. At 4:00 p.m, the Coco-Cola High School Dance Fiesta will witness students in a dance battle for $20,000 cash, trophies and packages from Wisynco (Coco-Cola).

Betty Crocker Bakers Fiesta will feature over 30 booths displaying delicious pastry options. Some unusual delights to be enjoyed will be:

Yoghurt cheese cake

Sugar-free chocolates

Donuts Red-Herring Bammy Wheat bakes

Contest winners will walk away with over $70,000 in prizes.

Adults will be able to participate in Tastee Cheese Bake-off. Using Anchor butter and Tastee cheese, contestants will make the most creative dishes to win cash prizes totalling $22,000.

Judges are: Winston Piper, head of baking department, UTech; Carlito Eubanks, pastry chef, Hilton Kingston; Keisha Ferguson, manager Golden Bakery; Hubert Young, master baker, National Bakery and Paulette Brown, manager, Bakers Association.

Sponsors include: Betty Crocker, Coco Cola, Wata, Anchor Butter, Tastee Cheese, Seprod, National Bakery, RJR Group, Singer and Gas Pro.
