Spanish-Jamaica Foundation meets at Rose Hall
published: Thursday | June 14, 2007

The fourth meeting of the executive board of the Spanish-Jamaican Foundation is scheduled for Friday at the recently opened 350-room Iberostar Hotel at Rose Hall in Montego Bay, St. James, the first of three in the resort chain to be completed within the next year.

The newly-appointed general manager, Philip Hofer, will host his colleagues from the eight Spanish groups which form the decision-making body of the organisation. The foundation was created less than a year ago to undertake social and educational projects in Jamaica.

The Board, chaired by its president, Spanish Ambassador Jesús Silva, meets every quarter and on this occasion is scheduled to examine the projects now being undertaken.
