The official presentation of summer parties has begun, with Red Stripe at the helm, launching their RTI: Red Stripe Temptation Isle Weekend, in Negril, Westmoreland, for the Independence weekend.

One difference with the RTI weekend is that they plan to make the event VIP all the way in concept and event. The party line-up includes 'Tempted - Delano Birthday Bash', 'Daydreams', 'Stages', 'Jokers Wild Colours', 'WildSides', 'Xtatiq - Pretty in Pink,' 'Temptation Live I & II' and 'Fusion'.

On Wednesday evening-guests enjoyed the party vibes in the Gardens of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston, as Red Stripe prepared to wow with their red-hot summer series. The Red Stripe girls littered the venue, walking around serving drinks and socialising with the guests as DJ Smoke from Renaissance Disco sizzled with some old-school rap and dancehall tunes. An eye-popping Red Stripe inspired venue greeted the many patrons who eventually showed up.

The evening's host, ZJ Nikki Z, finally started the presentations from Red Stripe with Carlo Redwood, brand marketing manager, slipping in a few quick words.

"I'm sure many of you have heard of the buzz on the road. What is red summer? It's hanging out with friends, sharing good times and enjoying the beer," Redwood elaborated. He announced some of Red Stripe's major events for the summer, including Red Wednesdays at the Quad; Beer Vibes on Friday, July 6; Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest on July 21; RTI over Independence weekend; Housexy, Renaissance Birthday Party on August 11; and Red Stripe Light Beach Futbol.

After presentations from Maurice Bryan, Alex Chin, spokesperson for the Temptation Isle Group, explained the brand- new concept of RTI Absolute Entertainment. Temptation Isle has now teamed up with the mega Jamaican brand, Red Stripe. The well-known and ever anticipated Independence weekend series of parties is now being dubbed Red Stripe Temptation Isle, to be hosted from August 3 to 6. According to Chin, he is thrilled to have Red Stripe as their title sponsor.

To end a fun-filled night that only gave a fleeting taste of RTI weekend, the Red Stripe girls came out in their red bikinis, performing a choreographed piece to Rihanna's hit song Umbrella. Renaissance continued to wow the crowd for the rest of the night, while Munga Honourable touched the stage briefly and sizzled.
