They, too, want presents that speak to their personality and taste, gifts that mean 'I love you Dad'. Damion Whyte, 37, a father of two, told The Gleaner that persons need to put more emphasis into gift buying for Father's Day.
"I didn't even realise that this Sunday (June 17) is Father's Day. Society in general don't care about us and not all fathers are bad," Mr. Whyte said yesterday.

What they want
Just buy me something nice, that is practical, that I can use. Socks are not usually the best gifts, however now I am in need of a few.
- James Black, 54, of Kingston
Just give me peace and quiet this Sunday. I am working this Sunday and if the phones at the office don't ring, I will be happy.
- Marcus Drake, 40, of Kingston
Give me good grades and lots of kisses.
