Lisa to win
published: Saturday | June 16, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

Former Miss World, Lisa Hanna, possesses all the necessary traits to win her seat and become a highly successful political representative. She possesses three of the key traits that make her a highly appealing political candidate, namely, striking good looks, an abundance of charm and excellent communication skills. Additionally, she possesses a sound intellect.

These are the same key traits which Michael Manley, Jamaica's most popular political leader, to date, possessed and used to his advantage throughout his political career. In Jamaican politics, a highly attractive candidate who knows how to woo the electorate with his/her charm, style and eloquence, will, more often than not, succeed over his/her opponent. The very same traits that led to Miss Hanna winning the Miss World crown, and beating hundreds of other girls across the world in the process, are what can make her become Jamaica's next political superstar. Given all her personal attributes, Lisa Hanna will not be an easy candidate to beat.

I am, etc.,
