Where are the economic plans?
published: Wednesday | June 27, 2007

THE EDITOR, Sir:

This Government seems only to pride itself on winning elections. Where are the economic plans to halt the slide of the dollar? Where are the real solutions to crime and violence?

All we have created is a 'he' versus 'she' environment, where people are taking sides as to whether a 'female time now' or a time for 'change'. We've already lived through 'black man time' and barely survived.

I am a father who has to honestly work to care for my children, yet my money can barely cover the bills. The whole health issue for children was good, but have you tried meaning-fully to fix education?

I am an average Jamaican man whose primary concern is making sure my family can benefit from my work. But believe me, the frustration is great as there is no incentive. Start governing so people can see what it is you are doing. That is why people always say "Nutten nah gwaan". Yes, you have proven you can win elections, that is your speciality, now prove you can govern properly.

I am, etc.,

FED UP FATHER
