Power of Faith lift church title

POWER OF Faith Seniors are the 2007 Dr. Delford Davis Twenty20 Portmore Church League cricket champions follow-ing their 66-run win over their Junior counterparts at Lime Tree Oval last Saturday.

The Senior outfit won the toss and batted first. They compiled 136 for eight off their allotted 20 overs with Man-of-the-Match Terrence Francis top scoring with 39 and Nicholas Richards making 30.

Peter Harrison, 3-19, and Andre Harrison, 2-16, took most wickets for the Juniors.

In reply, the Junior team were bundled out for a mere 70 runs.Only Omar Blackwood, with 24, made a worthwhile contribution with the bat against Ralston Nelson (3-16), Michael Samuels (2-12) and Leon Edwards (2-22).
