Old boys to meet over St George's dispute
published: Monday | July 2, 2007

The executive of the St. George's College Old Boys' Association is scheduledto meet tomorrow to discuss contentious matters at the school, the association's former President Charles Williams said yesterday.

Williams said the executive is expected to issue a statement expressing its "full support" for Principal Margaret Campbell after the sixth-form school-leaving ceremony was cancelled.

Yesterday, the school made security arrangements for its graduation ceremony amid fears that it would be disrupted by some parents.

Campbell was appointed as the first female principal of the traditionally all-boys school in June 2006.
