Letter of the day - An abuse of State funds
The Editor, Sir: I write in response to an article in The Gleaner of July 6, 'Access Fund Pay Out'. I have been a civil servant for the past 11 years. I work with one of the regional health authorities.

Reconsider contraceptive policy

The Editor, Sir: I wholeheartedly support the call made by Senator Scott-Bhoorasingh in the Senate for our young people to be educated in the matter of abstinence.

Long live Borobridge!

The Editor, Sir: Upon reading the article written by Paul Williams in The Sunday Gleaner of June 3, I must say I was grossly appalled at his lack of finesse and consideration for people and their lifestyles.

Time to end this charade

The Editor, Sir: I note with disappointment that the Most Hon P.J. Patterson has been campaigning actively for the PNP, thus giving up all rights to the statesmanship role expected from a former prime minister.

Prophetic ministry misrepresented

The Editor, Sir: Please grant me the opportunity to express my deep concern for what I consider the recent misrepresentation of prophetic ministry in Jamaica.
