Campaign strategy and voting preference
This is the first general election in 50 years in which I will not be participating... I am not involved on this occasion because, after nearly 50 years of campaigning, far more than anyone else, I have earned the right to take a rest from active politics. (Seaga)

Portia for seventh heaven?

Calling the elections at a time when people's frustration levels over back-to-school expenses are highest and when Bruce Golding's inducement of free tuition is most tantalising might be tricky for the Prime Minister.
