Government disservice
published: Sunday | July 15, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I have followed with concern the developing conditions among the citizens of your country.

How have they been served by the Government? Declining living standards, crime and violence out of control, chronic unemployment - what is the future for the coming generation in these conditions?

The situation is calling out for a new government, with a different approach and sound policies which will raise the prospects for the people. This will then attract the support and investment needed from countries such as the United States which will secure the future of Jamaica.

You have the opportunity now to make the change - please use it!

I am, etc.,

MICHEL THOMAS
