Wine, cheese and little conversation. That's what the small group shared at the Ambassador of Panama's residence last week.
The wine and cheese reception was to raise funds for a youth delegation from the Jamaica National Commission for UNESCO.
Panamanian Ambassador to Jamaica, Ricardo Moreno Flores, was the ultimate host, welcoming each of his guests as they entered.
Enticing music
The music was enough to get those who had some Spanish in their blood moving. Dominican Republic Ambassador Filomena Navarro did not miss a beat rocking her hips and encouraging others to give it a try.
Apparently contagious, Russian Ambassador Viktor Zotin pulled out his dancing spirit and joined her.
The guests were also treated to a fashion show with designs from Keneea Linton.
Guests included Ambassador of Colombia Ventura Emilio Diaz-Mejia, Dominican Republic Ambassador Filomena Navarro, Venezuelan Ambassador Noel Martinez, Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago Yvonne Gittens-Joseph, Melissa and Diego Avaria (deputy head of the Embassy of Chile) and Hector Taylor of the Embassy of Panama.
