In the world of entertainment, looking the part is as important as sounding great. Fans look to their favourite artistes to set the trend in fashion and at last week's Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest, the female performers showcased some fabulous outfits.

Lifestyle spoke with Macka Diamond about her choice.

Gangster with a sexy twist. That's the concept Macka Diamond had in mind when she ordered her Sumfest outfit.

A black felt hat, sunglasses and cane, accessorised a pair of hot red pants, a patterned cummerbund and a black and white polka dot shirt.

The outfit, designed by Smiley from the Constant Spring Arcade as a part of his White Sky line, easily transformed into a comfortable ensemble, according to Macka Diamond. She discarded most of her accessories and revealed in full view a Pippi Long Stocking red wig and changed her red pants for a pair of black micro shorts, all which allowed her more ease to perform her hula hoop and 'dandy shandy' moves.

Macka's make-up was by Charmaine from Body Accents and hair by Sharon.

Left: Lady Saw's blonde wig and oversize shades are hip and hot. Her khaki- coloured mini and oversize white top leave just enough to the imagination.
