Jamaica flags - Taiwan-made?
published: Thursday | August 9, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

Happy independence Jamaica; 45 years is a long way for those who worked hard to reach this milestone. But, it is with sadness I saw Jamaican flags selling in shops, sidewalks, in gift shops, that were made in Taiwan.

Please, can anyone tell me how Taiwan is able to print our flags in their country? Do they know the meaning of the black, green and gold?

Why are these people selling Jamaican products made in their country, with our signature on it? What do they know about our authentic Things Jamaican? Please stop them.

I am, etc.,

Living in The Bahamas
