With all the hubbub going on with election, the media do not have a lot of free time.

At the same time, European Union head of delegation, Ambassador Marco Mazzocchi-Alemanni, didn't have the chance to fully meet and greet the members. So on Thursday, despite the heavy downpour around the Corporate Area, the ambassador thought this was the perfect opportunity to meet and greet members of the fourth estate.

An informal little gathering it was as the ambassador, along with his wife Fiela and daughter Fiamma, got the chance to mix and mingle with those who could make it through the traffic congestion and the newly formed puddles in the Corporate Area. So, for a couple of hours, they spoke about the various issues of the day (politics included) and other stuff while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
