LETTER OF THE DAY - Don Wehby should be trusted to live up to oath of office
The Editor, Sir: I see no problem with the current salary arrangement that GraceKennedy has with Don Wehby. Mr. Wehby has taken an oath of office and, like every other Cabinet minister, he should, without prejudice, be trusted to live up to that oath.

Watchword for Portia

The Editor, Sir: Why would Mrs. Simpson Miller think that she needs to 'watch' the Jamaica Labour Party as if it's something above the ordinary? I would like to tell her that that is what she is there to do. We need strong and solid governance and an equally vigilant Opposition.

More on oversized Cabinets

The Editor, Sir: Mr. Lambert Brown can read but he appears to be having difficulty understanding what he reads. Nor does he seem able to discuss issues without resorting to vile insinuations, impertinence and irrelevancies.

The Editor, Sir:It has been a little over two weeks since the general elections were held and Mrs. Simpson Miller and some of her supporters cannot come to terms with the fact that they have lost the election. Whether the Jamaica Labour Party won by two seats or three seats...
