Hi, Ms Green, I read your letter in The Gleaner this morning ('A Ja success story about living in America') and was motivated by it.

I am a Jamaican who has recently migrated to Florida from Jamaica and this is the first time that I have heard someone speak so positively of their experiences here.

You are proof that in spite of the fact that one isn't born here, opportunities do exist and success is possible.

Like many, I do not have the support of 'blood relatives' but have the desire to work hard and achieve the highest success possible. As I go about trying to get employment, i will remember your story. Thanks for the inspiration and I hope to some day inspire other immigrants.
