Experts to discuss OECS Economic Union
published: Thursday | October 4, 2007

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (CMC):

A conference aimed at generating ideas on how the sub-regional Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) can push the proposed OECS Economic Union will be held here in December.

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), which is organising the two-day event from December 3, said that the conference would bring together regional and international experts "who know the challenges faced by the region and understand the vision for the OECS".

The ECCB said that the annual development conference would be held under the theme 'OECS Development in the 21st Century'.
