Kingston Restaurant week - Take a bite!
published: Thursday | October 4, 2007

From November 10-17, lovers of fine dining will, for the third year, get the opportunity to sample 31 of the city's finest restaurants. SSCO Event Management and The Gleaner have once again joined forces to present Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW) and restaurants will offer special three-course menus at drastically reduced costs.

The event kicks off with today's launch at 10:00 a.m., at Mac's Chop House, 24-26 Trinidad Terrace, New Kingston, following which, restaurants will begin taking bookings for reservations.

KRW is one week during which Kingston's culinary mastery goes on show and locals as well as visitors get to dine at their favourite restaurants at drastically reduced costs.

As in other years, there are three categories of restaurants: delectable, savoury and tasty. The first category costs $2,500 plus GCT and gratuity; the second costs $1,300 plus GCT and gratuity and the third costs $1,100 plus GCT and gratuity. Beverages are not included.

After dining, why not check out this year's participating nightclubs for some entertainment
