Glenroy Sinclair, Assignment Coordinator
He had been on the run for the last 27 days, moving between parishes, eluding police dragnets. His luck ran out yesterday, however, when he was nabbed by the police in the rural district of Enfield, St. Mary. He has been named as a prime suspect in the murder of 30 year-old Det. Sgt. Edgerton Brown, a former bodyguard to Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller.
Allegations are that after the gun slaying of Sergeant Brown on September 6, the 22-year-old suspect ran away from his home in Compound, a housing settlement in West Central St. Andrew, close to where the policeman's Nissan Sunny motor car was found abandoned.

"He will be facing an identification parade," said one of the investigators, who explained why his name cannot be released.
Up to late last night he was being interrogated by senior detectives from the Major Taskforce Team and the St. Andrew Central CIB. At least 14 policemen have been murdered since January.
The police had been on the heels of the suspect and his teenage accomplice, who has been implicated in other crimes committed in the South St. Andrew Police Division. The 22-year-old man ran out of luck yesterday, following an intelligence-driven operation by the Hunts Bay police.
