Justice Wright dies at 82

Retired Court of Appeal Judge and pastor of the Dayton Diamond Ridge Church, Martin Wright, died Tuesday at age 82.

Justice Wright retired from the Court of Appeal Bench in 1995. He also served as a member of the Judicial Services Commission.

A son of Manchester, Justice Wright studied law in England. In 1963, he joined the staff of the Director of Public Prosecutions and stayed there for 13 years until he was appointed a puisne judge.

He was judge in the Supreme Court for 10 years before he was promoted to the Court of Appeal where he served for a further nine years.
