published: Sunday | October 21, 2007

Joe Hylton and his wife, Pam, share a romantic kiss during his 60th birthday party, held at Three Palms, Rose Hall, recently. Mr. Hylton, who worked as the financial controller at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Hotel, now oversees the books at Rose Hall Resort and Country Club, formerly Wyndham Rose Hall Hotel

A night of savoury cuisine under the stars was interrupted by the tropical storm engulfing the island; however, party-goers proved that the showers were no match for their spirits!

Serenaded by Karen Smith, Joe Hylton, the celebrant, was invited to cut a huge cake. Accompanied by his wife Pam, what followed was for guests' eyes only, but suffice it to say that after 23 years of marriage, the couple still remember what bird feeding is all about! Joe Hylton was in his element!

Public Relations Consultant Marline Stephenson Dalley is embraced by her husband, Ian.

The night was punctuated with speeches by close family and friends who gave testimony to his integrity, good nature, devotion to family and micro-management skills; all qualities which make Joe Hylton the awesome person he is!

Gem Myers and Fab Five provided entertainment.

In attendance were Joe's daughters Nikki and Jodi, Fitzroy Buchanan, Karen and Phoebe Buchanan, Matthew and Nandi Hylton, Rickelle Miller, Glen Miller and wife Donna, High Court judge Glen Brown, Dennis Campbell and wife Marion, Noel Cambpell and wife Valerie, Summerfest Productions' Johnny Gourzong and wife Leeann, Lachu Ramchandani, among others.
