It's 25 and going strong
published: Friday | October 26, 2007

GraceKennedy scholar Franklyn Anderson (left) captivates (from second left) Grace CEO Douglas Orane, fellow scholar Jason Shettleworth, and Fay McIntosh.

The GraceKennedy Foundation is celebrating 25 years, and as part of the silver anniversary, officials hosted a recognition ceremony on Thursday, October 18.

The individuals being recognised for their contribution were the former chairmen who had given so much to the foundation. Sir Herbert Duffus, Prof. Gladstone Mills and Peter Moss-Solomon received citations.

The event also gave the GraceKennedy family a chance to introduce some of their scholarship recipients. And the bright young minds only added to the gathering, their bright demeanours and intelligence showing the company's faith in them was not wasted.

GraceKennedy CEO Douglas Orane (third right) jokes with (from left) Grace scholarship winners Roderick Gordon, Keith Brown, Franklyn Anderson, Marvin Reid, Greg Walcolm, Jason Shettleworth and Monique Robinson. Dr. Jennifer Knight-Madden looks on.
