Rodgers new CEO of Air Jamaica
published: Friday | November 2, 2007

WESTERN BUREAU:

William Rodgers has been appointed acting president and chief executive officer of Air Jamaica with immediate effect.

Rodgers, who retired from the airline earlier this year after more than 35 years, was asked to return to the national carrier by the Government.

He served in several executive positions during his tenure and was the senior vice-president in charge of industrial relations before he demitted office.

His appointment was confirmed by senior vice-president of marketing and sales, Paul Pennicook, who noted that Rodgers, a household name at the airline, brings a wealth of experience to the job.
