Clowning around in Hagley Gap
published: Tuesday | November 13, 2007

Paul H. Williams, Contributor

Nocholas Wright ,Kemarey Walker, Leslie Spaulding

Hagley Gap is a quiet and peaceful community in the hills of St. Thomas. Everything that is rural can be found there. But, there is a group of young men calling themselves the G Squad who you wouldn't expect to find there. They are clowns!

Normally, the young men are engaged in vocations such as carpentry and welding, but when the time is right, they throw down the trappings of such arduous tasks and don their funny attire, making 'poppy shows' of themselves.

They could have otherwise brought grief and anger to their community and the nation on a whole, but they chose to make us laugh. They appear at 'nine nights' and just about any social gathering that requires their presence. When you see them walk and do all sorts of antics, you have no choice but to roll over and hold your belly.

And so today, Lifestyle gives you, Leslie Spaulding, 21, Nicholas Wright, 22, Nedroy Johnson, 24, Kemarey Walker, 24, Nigel Harding, 24, and Solo Tall Boy, the clowns of Hagley Gap.
