Earthquake rocks Dominica
published: Friday | November 30, 2007

ROSEAU, Dominica (CMC):

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shook Dominica on Wednesday but caused no damage, the Disaster Management Office has said.

"A relatively strong earthquake occurred this morning at about 10:18 a.m. south east of Dominica," it said, adding that the quake was also felt in the neighbouring islands of St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Earlier this month, two smaller quakes occurred in the southern region of Dominica.
