Please assist the police
published: Sunday | December 2, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

As a former police officer of Jamaica, my heart and soul cry out at the madness that has overtaken my beloved country.

I knew ACP Gilbert Kameka very well as a loyal and professional officer, and therefore his death is felt all the more deeply. I am hereby appealing for people to cooperate with the police. Someone may have seen or heard something; please come forward. Please get on the same page with the police. Do not wait until someone in your family gets killed or maimed to act.

The information you give today can and will save lives tomorrow.

I am, etc.,

LLOYD SAMUELS

Philadelphia, PA
