Harbour View tackle Arnett Gardens today
published: Friday | December 7, 2007

Keisha Hill, Staff Reporter

KNOWN FOR their counter-attacks and stout defending, much is expected from top-of-the-table Harbour View when they tackle second-place Arnett Gardens today in the JFF/Coca-Cola National Under-21 League at the Anthony Spaulding Complex in the final set of matches in round one of the competition.

Leading the pack on nine points, Harbour View need only to ensure victory against Arnett Gardens, who are only two points behind on seven, to solidify their place in the second round. Reno, who are also on seven points, are well in contention to move into round two followed by fourth-place Waterhouse, who are on four points.

Harbour view's victory

Following Harbour View's 3-1 come-from-behind win against Tivoli Gardens and Arnett's 2-1 win over Portmore United in last Friday's round of matches, both teams are expected to come fully charged and ready for battle.

In today's other games, Portmore United will travel to meet Reno at STETHS, Sporting Central Academy will take on Seba United at Brancourt, Waterhouse will entertain August Town at Drewsland Stadium, Boys' Town will tackle Village United at Collie Smith Drive, and St. Georges will play Tivoli Gardens at the Edward Seaga Stadium.
