Leading rider, Omar Walker, who will return from a two-day suspension tomorrow, has been slapped with another two-day ban for careless riding.

Walker, who rode the winning horse, ENDURING, in the seventh race on Wednesday, November 21, was suspended and fined $2,000 by the stewards on Tuesday for the interference caused to the runner-up FLASH FLOOD in the vicinity of the 300-metre point. His suspension will take effect next Wednesday, December 12.

Walker leads the jockeys' championship with 81 wins - 11 clear of closet rival Trevor Simpson.

Apprentice Omelio Francis who rode SAMBA DANCER in the fifth race on Wednesday, November 28 was suspended for two race days for the interference caused to RAZZ BUGG in the vicinity of the 700-metre point. The suspension will take effect on Wednesday, December 12.

His explanation was accepted for the interference caused to HASAN and STEEL PRINCE at the start aboard TIMOTHY SCOTT in the ninth race, last Saturday.

Jockey Ameth Robles, who rode SUN TANNED TOES in the eighth race on Saturday, November 24 was suspended for three race days and fined $3,000 for the inter-ference caused to AVABELLE in the vicinity of the 900-metre point. His suspension commences next Wednesday, December 12.

Apprentice Carlton Malcolm, who rode the winning horse, NUMERO UNO, in the third race last Saturday, was suspended for two race days and fined $2,000 for the interference caused to TRIPLE ACCOUNT and TIME OF MY LIFE in the final 200 metres. His suspension commences next Wednesday.

Jockey Kirk Johnson, who rode UNQUESTIONABLE in the eighth race last Saturday, was suspended for three race days for the interference caused to MUSTANG and DIAMOND KING in the vicinity of the 200-metres marker. His suspension takes effect as of tomorrow.
