With all the events going on around the Corporate Area, a few guests went for a quiet evening for a change.

James Heg, minister-counsellor in the United States Embassy, opened the doors to his Jack's Hill residence for a small festive affair last Monday. Small and cosy it was (the best kind of receptions, really) with soft music by the poolside and bamboo torches creating an ambience.

Guests at this small gathering included head of the European Union delegation in Jamaica, Ambassador Marco Mazzocchi-Alemanni and wife Fiela, Colombian Ambassador, Dr. Emilio Ventura Diaz-Mejia, Irena and Leo Cousins, Gilbert Scott, Assistant Commissioner of Police Les Green, Anton Boerger and Maria Friedrich-Boerger, Willie Lampert and Anna Kaiser, Ed and Rose Wehrli and Yoshiyuki Isoda.
