The much anticipated I- Scream turned to mush after Boyz II Men performed early in the night's proceedings.

Upon entering the venue at midnight the Gleaner team observed patrons leaving and, when we enquired, were informed that Boys II Men had performed and they were on their way home.

Checks with other patrons pointed out that Boys II Men gave a full set lasting almost an hour.

Etana was now on the stage after the exit of Little Hero and she gave a thrilling performance. She stuck to her Roots and pointed out that 'time is the master'. She was then followed by Wayne Marshall who tried to Overcome the lukewarm reception. He announced that he was Cocky, then begged, Forgive Them Please and stated that there is one job he is not interested in, Astronaut. He ended with a remix of Rehab with the line, 'Cops try to take my weed, I say No, No, No!

Christopher Martin entered with a tribute to the ladies with Beautiful Girls. He then cleared up the introduction that he was Rising Star 2005 not 2006, and now he is Christopher Martin the recording artiste from Big Yard. He then introduced the big man himself, Shaggy, who had the ladies reeling with songs like Sweet Girl, he then endorsed Strength Of A Woman and gave a warning to Church Heathens before he exited with You Are My Angel, leaving the crowd begging for more.

Warlord introduction

It was now 1:00 a.m. and Nicky Z introduced the 'Ground God', Bounty Killer. Flanked by K-Queens, he entered with his signature lines 'cross, angry, miserable'. He quickly announced 'Bounty no gawn nuh weh' and declared he is the 'warlord' and if a bwoy think him bad him fi follow the arrow' .

The tunes were well received by the diminishing crowd. Bounty paused to set the record straight and addressed the issue of the 'ex'.

"Mi put dun mi use and an lef and some guy who a real fish an nuh used to pm-pm tek it up and an go marry. The crowd's response was mixed following the onslaught on the so-called 'fish'. It soon became quite clear that the remaining patrons would have none of it, with some persons using D'Angel's tag line "And So" in response to Killer's comments.

He then addressed comments made by Spice. "Mi hear Spice a sey Bounty seh anywhere p—-y deh him a go deh deh. Any weh p—-y deh Bounty a go "Beat it, beat it, beat it," he chanted. Backed by K-Queens, he deejayed, "I will see more clear" and followed with "Say your leaving and the reason is clear," Gun nuh Stick, and ended with Never Switch.

At 1:20 a.m. the MC entered, thanked the patrons and apologised for the absence of Carl Thomas, KC-I and JoJo who did not perform.
