published: Thursday | December 27, 2007

Some people have more than the holidays to celebrate, including Paul Johnson and Rushella Lee who got married last Saturday at the East Queen Street Baptist Church. There was certainly a lot to celebrate during the Yuletide season. From weddings to wedding anniversary to having a jolly good time - all across the island they enjoyed life.

Once per year, at Christmas, the women in Western Jamaica are allowed to take over the Monday 'Businessmen's' Club, and that is exactly what they did last Friday night at Noel and Sharron Sloley's residence. Staying with any one person for over three decades is no easy feat. So, Tanny and Madge Shirley have something to be proud of as they celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary at their Jack's Hill residence last Saturday. Looking on to get a tip from the wise are their daughter Tenice and her husband Abner Gonsalvez. - Winston Sill/Freelance Photographer

Very rarely is Andy Daswani (right) caught on camera. But that's exactly what 'Something Extra' did last Friday night while he danced with wife Michelle at the Monday Club Christmas party at Senator Noel and Sharron Sloley's home in Spring Farm, Montego Bay. - photo by Janet Silvera
