Born for a purpose
published: Friday | January 4, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

Our Lord was born to give peace to a restless world. He was born to give men peace and died to make men free and the reason why the world is so restless is because the so-called Christian world interprets his birth the wrong way.

We see the merchants making it into a tough time to make money and even the poor who who have little or no money are led away in the error of a material Christmas, in which there is no peace, no love, no unity.

Crime and violence continue to make the headlines and the only way to change those awesome headlines is for us all to seek the help of the Prince of Peace.

Let us follow him for 2008 and we will see the peace which we all longed for. May he help us to follow him through 2008 and see the difference.

A peaceful new year to all.

I am, etc.,

A.A. White
