Kidnap victim returns home
published: Thursday | January 10, 2008

A 15-year-old girl, who was kidnapped in May Pen, Clarendon, last Friday, has been returned home.

After last week's kidnapping, the family of the girl, who the police have refused to name, made a report to the May Pen Criminal Investigations Bureau. The police, along with the flying squad, launched an investigation.

According to the police, the investigation took them five days and led them to a home in Twin Palm Estates, Palmer's Cross, Clarendon, where the girl was rescued.

Two persons have been held in connection with the abduction and two others are of interest to the police.

It is understood that a ransom was demanded by the kidnappers for the safe return of the girl.

The police have also refused to release the names of the persons arrested, as the men are to undergo an identification parade.
