It's always a good idea to start the New Year off right, so why not do it with friends and family?

Friends of Club India threw a New Year dinner and cocktail reception at the club last Friday night to ring in 2008 and all its promises.

The dinner was a little later on the calendar than usual but it was no less special as it gave the group a chance to kick back and relax on a Friday evening.

With Caribbean Producers Jamaica Ltd. providing the cocktails, guests dined on roti and curry goat, dhal, curry chicken and other tasty repast that we have come to appreciate from Indian cuisine.

Guests included: president of Club India Ravi Rambharan, Beryl Williams-Singh, Sunetra Ramsingh, Vishu Tolan, Jayanti Patel, Seragh and Effie Lakasingh, Lachu Ramchandani, Raymond Daley (of Silvers and Capital Management LLC), Jack Ramchandani, Bramwell Shepherd, Beulah DaSilva, Glen Brown, Andrea Stewart, Marcel Robinson, Deana Douglas, Bryan Cummings, Prof. Verene Shepherd, Tamara Ward and Ras Astor Black.
